(Legends) Emmanuelle Riva and Jean-Louis Trintignant in Amour (Michael Haneke, 2012)
The stars of two of my favorite movies! I have to see this.
The Conformist
top movies of 1970s
Ovoce stromu rajských jíme (Fruit of Paradise) Věra Chytilová (1970)

Meiko Kaji in Japanese ‘women in prison’ revenge film Female Convict 701: Scorpion (1972)
I don’t really like Teorema (Pasolini, 1968), but Anne Wiazemsky is pretty.

Lucio Fulci is one of my favorite hacks but this one is sooooo bad, haha. The dubbing for the kid is so funny that the whole thing is almost worth it, though.

Bernardo Bertolucci, The Conformist, 1970.
On the set of Solaris.

It’s hard for me to feel sorry for Anne Wiazemsky in Au hasard balthazar (Bresson, 1966); she kind of turns out to be an ugly person (or at least a stupid one). But poor Balthazar. :(

Knife in the Water is one of my favourite films. Roman Polanski’s 60’s films were exceptional.
Metropolis, 1927, directed by Fritz Lang.
